As a vegetarian always interested in the vegetarian menu. On the night we were at the taverne i choose the vega burger. The burger was oké but the garnish the make-up was very disapointning. I would have expected more, much more, something creative, something really original! Not the simple breadroll, with on one site a sort of mayonaise sauce and on the other site a confiture with a leave of lettuce!! And you could make a choise of standerd sauces, almost ordinair. Where is the creative chef who can make a vega dish, a marvellous dish.... Make the burger feel good between polenta (a slice baked with parmasan cheese), nice big pieces of grilled courget/ aubergine and finish it with egg fungus (eierschwammen). The finishing touch can be a tomatosaus for instance. Than you serve a full, brilliant tiptop vegetarian dish!!
